Qualifications
Holds valid teaching licensure for middle school grades.
Classroom teaching experience preferred, but not required.
Understands the subject area content thoroughly, provides instructional services necessary to educate all students to high expectations, and ensures that all students meet Illinois Learning Standards.
Evaluates student performance and growth in knowledge and understandings and prepares progress reports.
Collaborates with other team members in the education of the students.
Maintain professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the school and/or in self-selected professional growth activities.
Uses varied resources and materials.
Uses wholesome motivational techniques.
Relates instruction to the Christian objectives of the school.
Holds membership at a local church and attends worship services regularly
Member of a Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod congregation. Preferred, but not required.
