The Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP) is hosting an open house for professionals and organizations working with people who have disabilities. The Open House will take take place from November 13 to 16, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at IATP's Demonstration Center. For more information, please refer to the Weekly Message from the Superintendent.
Information on the Reuse Program will be available. You can see some of the Assistive Technology that is available through this program and learn how to get it. Items that could be available are wheelchairs, walkers, augmentative and alterative communication devices, vision devices, and many more. Read the Weekly Message for more information.
Also noted in the Weekly Message from the Superintendent is information on the Statewide Assistive Technology Exchange Network (ATEN). This is a unique statewide computer-recycling program established by nonprofit United Cerebal Palsy Seguin (UCPS) in conjunction with ISBE.
